About / the studio
Novo Creation is a decorating and design studio dedicated to helping people live more beautifully. We create premium handmade rugs and offer a trusted resource for anyone looking to transform their space with enduring, thoughtful design.
From our in-house studio to the visionary designers we collaborate with, Novo Creation is committed to crafting some of the most desirable rugs in the world. Since our inception, our work has been guided by a simple idea: merge the traditional art of rug weaving with the creative energy of today's most gifted designers.
What we sell
Two things here are for sale, and either one on its own. The rug: any design in our collections, hand-knotted for you in Tibetan wool, in your own colours and size, taking around three months from sign-off to finished piece.
The design: the design itself, bought on its own when a woven rug is not what you need. Both are priced on enquiry, so tell us which one you are after and we will come back to you with a figure.

Design philosophy
Whether your style is classic, contemporary, or a blend of both, our goal is to make rugs feel like the quiet centre of your room: grounding, textural, and deeply considered. We see rugs as architecture for the floor. They define space, anchor furniture, and introduce colour in a controlled, intentional way.
Each design is developed to balance form, function, and longevity. We want our rugs to feel timeless in your home, not just seasonal.
Materials & texture
We work primarily with Tibetan wool sourced from the high plateau. This wool is exceptionally resilient, naturally rich in lanolin, and ideal for building soft, nuanced textures.
Our designs often rely on subtle shifts in pile height, carving, and finish to create depth and tactility. The result is a restrained, textural aesthetic where nature and artistry meet.
Ethics & responsibility
Our commitment is not only to design, but also to the people and environments involved in our work. We do not use child labour in any of our production sites, and we treat our craftspeople as long-term partners and extended family.
Our rugs are made without large industrial machinery and use only natural materials. This approach helps us meet high environmental standards while preserving the integrity of hand craftsmanship.
Honouring time, skill, and human touch in every piece.
Quietly confident forms and palettes that age gracefully.
Natural materials, fair conditions, and low-impact methods.
Around three months from design sign-off to finished rug, woven entirely by hand without industrial machinery.
Natural Tibetan wool from the high plateau, chosen for its resilience, warmth, and ability to hold rich, complex colour.
